Since the VHS tape and camera, Dan Zen has been recording moving into High 8, Digital Tapes, Disks and then harddrives. From about fifty VHS tapes to a hundred digital tapes and on to thousands of video clips Dan Zen has been recording his creations as well as ideas in philosophy, recreational ravines, interactive media, etc. Zen has also edited artistic works primarily in Adobe Premiere. Let's take a look!VHS & High8 (1990-2000) ▲ Early videos of bands and shenanigans!Windy Day (1986) ▲ A reproduction of an early Dan Zen shenanigan - Zen has had people in far off lands come up to him and say, "I remember you... you did that windy day!"Guru Monster Movie (1992) ▲ Shot in the prime of Zen's party life. This one has bounced back and forth from early rented recorders to VHS tapes all over the world then to digital then to YouTube, back to be re-edited, etc. Part is missing with a night club scene but oh well. It is a fun look at what we were doing in our psychedelic times post Chessmen and pre Gnostics - but with Thee Gnostics.All The World (2006) ▲ The first YouTube video posted by Zen discussing a neat discovery about how much room all the people in the world would take up if standing side to side and back to front.New Media Predictions ala 1974 (2006) ▲ The second YouTube video posted by Zen is a fun concept about pretending to predict the future from the past. A little shaky in some places but fun overall. "They'll be carrying electronic luggage!"
