Dan Zen often quotes a philosopher of our times... "I don' care about history - cause that's not where I wanna be." It is the future - well... that and a touch of the future is now. Zen writes stories, works with advanced technologies, and sketches the future. Of course, being an Inventor, Zen takes active part in creating the future. Let's see!

New Media Predictions ala 1974 (2006) ▲ A bit of fun imagining what the future (2006) would be like as if we were in the past (1974). It does make it easier to predict things! A benefit this approach is that it can lead to a slightly different view and potentially to invention.

Dan Zen Future - Mediated Reality Past Present and Future Function Keys Conference

ADVANCED INTERFACES ▲ An internal site proposing a new program in Advanced Interfaces. By moving prior work from Flash into JavaScript, Zen was able to make more time in his current program of Interactive Media so plans for Advanced Interfaces set aside. Zen is currently researching a ten-year passion of Collective Control with an upcoming art exhibit at the Factory Media Center in Hamilton.

OLED Walls / OLED Ware (2010) ▲ Placeholder site for when OLED finally makes it mainstream! Of course, they will probably come up with a new name for it. This picture features early touch screen projects Zen has helped produce. OLED WARE

FUTURE FASHION ▲ Please visit the Fashion 2 Exhibit at the Dan Zen Expo to see futuristic outfits and accessories. Take note of the Future Girl Series (2020, 2021, 2022). Also, The Gnostics played Space Rock and launched albums called Cosmonausticus, Tangle and Gorgolon. There is the Moog Exhibit with far out sounds of Supernova played on a Moog Satellite! 090 years - soul transplant
100 years - marriage is abolished

This concludes the Future Exhibit for the Dan Zen Expo. On a personal level, Dan Zen sees turning more towards philosophy and creativity as he moves into his future years. He hopes and possibly expects to live forever - at least in a digital substrate heading to the stars! May your future be bright and may all your dreams... be watched by millions.
