Dan Zen loves telling stories as exemplified in the Purple Box series and the Moustache Mysteries series. In his early party days, Zen and friends would tell communal stories. He has also made many interactive story telling tools and used these to tell stories. Gather 'round children and listen (or make) a story!

Dan Zen Storytelling - Altura - pseudo interactive storytelling!

ALTURA ▲ Pseudo Interactive Stories. We all love the idea of "choose your own adventure" stories but these can take a lot of work to create the many required branches if the story. Dan Zen developed a system where we get to list potential options but then the story still advances in a linear manner. Just the imagining of these options is interesting for both the reader and the writer. Zen has found, as an author, that 80% of the story changes direction when forced to explore options. This is a formalization of what authors goes through in their head. Using the tool, Zen has made the following - some are series so here is a list of all the DAN ZEN stories. And some starters:

Dan Zen Storytelling - Altura - Snipisode storytelling on Facebook!

SNIPISODE ▲ Seeing that most people were reading on Facebook, Dan Zen created a Facebook story telling app called Snipisode where you can snip up a story and post a bit a day on your Facebook feed. Again, some are series so here are all of the stories: Snipisode Stories. And here are some starts:
